  • Absolutely! Your marriage in Belize will be legally recognized in your home country as long as you follow all necessary legal requirements. We’ll guide you through the process and apply for your official marriage certificate from The Belize Registry. Your certificate will be sent to your home address. This process takes approximately 2-3 months.

  • The process for obtaining a marriage license in Belize is straightforward! You’ll need to be in the country for at least three business days prior to filing your application (the day of arrival does not count). If you prefer to expedite the process, you can apply for an expedited license for an additional $250. To apply, you’ll need:

    • A fully completed marriage license application form, which we will assist you in acquiring.

    • A photocopy of the front two pages of your passport and the page showing your arrival date in Belize.

    • If either party has been married before, you must provide the final divorce decree, which needs to be an original document with the court’s stamp or seal. Copies are not accepted.

    • If either party is a widow or widower, a copy of the death certificate is required.

    • If either party is under 18, parental consent and blood work are necessary.

We’ll guide you through every step to ensure a smooth process for your Belize destination wedding!
